Tulip Fest

The Fett grandparents came to Kansas (I put in an SOS call!) for a long weekend. It was nice to have company and help with things. The weather was great and on Saturday we ventured out to the bustling metropolis Wamego for their annual Tulip Festival. Jesse had a blast with all the fun things to do.

Hoppy Easter!

The Easter Bunny visited Kansas today! Jesse loved his Easter basket, hunting for eggs and several sugar highs throughout the day. There's a lot of "coverage" of today's events for Garret's benefit, but you can enjoy all the fun too.

BEADS!! Jesse and I went to a ST Patrick's Day Parade last weekend and he now has a new fetish to add to his growing list: beads. We do not do ANYTHING without the beads on.

Everywhere we go, they come along too...they must be on in the car seat when strapped in, worn on our walk, and while planting flowers. I had to put my foot down on going to bed with them, that didn't go over well.

365 Days to go!

It's been a busy, exhausting month, to say the least, preparing for Garret's departure...but now that he left today we can start the countdown for him to return home safe!
