A Busy Morning for Jesse

Ohhhh, Jesse is such the helper in the morning when there's things to be done! And his list of chores is long:

First, Jesse sweeps the floors.
Then it's time to unload the dishwasher.
Next he fixes things with his screwdriver.
I don't know how, but he manages to fit in a book or two.
And he's always keeping tabs on the dogs--whether they're inside or out!

See, such a big help...I don't know how I would get it all done without him!
We've been busy this past week...Garret's been wrapping things up at work before a lighter schedule starts next week for the holidays and I've had a FRG function every night this week. We're getting on the road to Minnesota for some of Garret's cousins' hockey games this weekend. Then I'm looking forward to a couple days of nothing before we fly out to Maryland. Whew!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

To kick the holiday season off we went to something called Bethlehem Revisited. It was so awesome...it was a 45 minute walking tour of the events that led up to Jesus' birth and the events that followed. The actors were great, they had live animals at all the "stations", and it was snowing, which made it seem so magical! Garret and I were shocked at how well Jesse did, especially with it being so cold out.

Fett Family all bundled up after our tour.
Jesse with a mouth full of cookies.

Jesse has always loved baths...but he REALLY loves them now that he likes laying back and kicking! I think he's going to take after his Daddy with his love for the water.

Jesse's First SNOW!

Sadie was exited about the snow too! Trying out the new sled in our lovely fenced in yard!
Going for a walk.
Yummy! Not enjoying his first snow angel on dad's car.

Jesse's laugh is contagious in this video!

It finally snowed here in Kansas! We got about 8 inches today, and more is coming...along with 15 degree temps and high winds tomorrow. Garret had a "snow day", so we piled in the car for a trip to Target to stock up on all the necessities--hats, shovel, and ,of course, a sled! We played a lot longer outside than I thought we would, Jesse just loved it so much. He's getting used to being bundled up too...it's been a slow transition though. Enjoy the pictures of him loving his first snow :)
